A question I've been often asked since posting my bondage efforts on here is "how do you find your models?". Over the past few months, my answer to that would have often been "with a great deal of difficulty" and "not very often". As I mentioned in passing in my last journal entry, finding models lately for bondage shoots hasn't been easy. In 2008 I shot bondage with just over 20 models. That number dropped to around 10 last year, and this year was looking even worse.

It used to be that if I approached a model for a bondage shoots, one of two things happened.  Either they said "thanks but no thanks" (or something to that effect) which of course I accepted and moved on, or they said yes. If it was the latter, most times a shoot would take place. But over the past couple of years, what has often happened is a model says she wants to do a bondage shoot, and then it goes nowhere - either a lot of messages back and forth with no commitment to a shoot ever happening, or worse still, a shoot date is set then the model cancels at the last minute. Hence sometimes my updates on here have been infrequent.

A few months back I decided to join Facebook to see what all the fuss was about this whole social networking thing. And I had heard it was a good place to source models. I was sceptical - how would that work when I'm shooting bondage. Shooting with "Shimmer" again was thanks to Facebook, I'd lost touch with her, but was able to re-connect with her through Facebook.

Then all of sudden, something old and something new came together. I've been shooting bondage for nearly sixteen years now, and before internet modelling sites and the like existed, I solely relied on word of mouth to source models. Word of mouth still plays a part sourcing some of the models I've worked with. Suddenly combining this with Facebook has resulted in me shooting with three new models over just the past few weeks. Indeed I ended up shooting as much over four weeks as I did in the previous four months. In case of almost be careful what you wish for, I suddenly found myself in image overload, with so many images to process, edit and sort through I still couldn't post on here, at least not until now.

So brace yourselves for a series of mega updates over the next few days, as I post around 70 new bondage photos shot in the past few weeks. Along with the new models there is a location shoot with Kaela and some sets with Jennie.
